The Ten Essential Items Every Maternity Wardrobe Should Have

Hey Everyone!

I know, long time no post.  I apologize.  Business has been going well and now that fall has (kind of) arrived, things are slowing down a bit.  J3 is in school, we’ve got a rhythm going and everything is great!  Now I have no excuse not to be back on a regular blogging schedule.

Over the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to talk to quite a few moms and soon-to-be moms about what items they feel are absolutely vital to have in your closet when you’re pregnant.  Since pictures don’t really do the topic justice, I decided to vlog it for you since it’s definitely information worth sharing .  The video clip is only 15 minutes I promise–enjoy!

The Big Announcement!

I know I promised a little over a week ago that I had a big announcement that was good news versus my last bit of bad news…well guess what?

WE’RE EXPECTING!

Ideas for the adorable t-shirt found here and food/baby comparison here

I realized after I opened my big mouth that I wasn’t out of my first trimester and didn’t want to jinx anything, especially since it took us almost a year to get to this point!  So now that I’m into our second trimester, I figured that letting the cat out of the bag was okay.  We’re expecting our little bundle of joy right around Christmas (December 21st to be exact).

This pregnancy has been the polar opposite of my first one.  I have been so incredibly nauseous and tired that some days I didn’t make it off the couch.  That of course, proves to be a challenge with a toddler and two custom nursery bedding orders to complete.  I finally started feeling human again this past week and am excited  to get back to having a life that doesn’t involve running for the nearest  bathroom every ten minutes.

Of course, expect posts about all things maternity and baby for the next 28 weeks…because the fact that this is the last time I will be pregnant seems to be consuming much of my thoughts!!
