I apologize for not posting something yesterday. It’s been a little interesting lately, trying to balance family, my busy little business and cleaning my house while adding in writing on a regular basis. I love writing and I hate cleaning my house, so I figuring out what I was going to do today was a no brainer (don’t tell my husband though).
Deciding on what to write about has also been a bit of a challenge. I get caught up in the “I have to write a Pinterest/Twitter/Facebook worthy post that will go viral and change the world” syndrome, when in fact I DO NOT. I figure I just need to write about the things I love in hopes that some of you will share what you love. So today I’m sharing what I’m reading-Beth Anne did it a few weeks ago on Instagram and I picked up a couple of books she had recommended. Here’s what’s on my nightstand right now…
I just finished a book though that I LOVED. Now for me to say this about a book, it’s got to be pretty spectacular and this one most certainly is on so many levels.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is about two teenagers that meet at a Cancer Kids support group and their relationship from that point on. I won’t spoil it, but trust me, it’s worth the read. You will laugh and cry so be sure to have the tissue box handy. I highly recommend grabbing it before the movie comes out next year.
Trying to find something equally remarkable is going to be tough, but I’m going to give it a shot. So therein lies the question-WHAT ARE YOU READING?!? If there is a blog, magazine, book, whatever that you’ve been reading and that you love I want to read it too! Comment about it below pretty please. Seriously, what will I do if I none of these books catch my attention? I’ll be forced to read Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series for the fourth time in the past year and a half (not a bad thing, but I pretty much know them by heart).
Thanks again for stopping by!

I will have to look into some of those books :)
Well, I have looked into some of these and now have a list to read :)
Hit Hastings this afternoon and scored many new read!
I loved your comment about feeling the need to write a blog post that changes the world. I’m brand new to the blogging world, but I think that wish will always be there. Even when I find out that people read my blog (but didn’t comment or like), it warms my heart. I wanted you to know that this post influenced me. I asked for The Fault in the Stars for Christmas and am now reading it. Thank you for sharing your reads with me!
