About me…hmmm…

Seriously, how do you write this?  Um, yeah, I did a lot of stuff and here I am.  That just does NOT work.  So here’s the reality fairy tale version…

Once upon a time there was a girl who wasn’t quite sure who she was, so in the quest to discover that person, she did a lot of stuff.  Stuff included traveling, partying like a rock star, creating amazing friendships and breaking boys hearts.  (**I should mention she got her heart broken once too**).  Then one day, after an ill-fated, life-sucking relationship came to an end, she met this guy.  Yes, THIS GUY:

My and J2's first date-we saw Weezer at the Hard Rock in Vegas

And somehow, even though they are complete opposites (he being a realist, her an optimist, he being a conservative, her being more of a liberal), they fell in love.  They moved from the desert (him-Vegas, her-Phoenix) to Texas.  Yes, Texas where everyone has big hair and carries guns (okay, maybe not).  Seven months later he proposed and that following summer they were married on the beach in Mexico.

We had the perfect wedding...on the beach and SMALL

Two days after their second wedding anniversary, they had this little gem:

Little J3 at one month old

Total cutie, huh?!?  I know, hard to believe those two pumped out something so cute.  Here’s another look:

Little J3 at 19 months

Shortly after J3′s first birthday, the happy couple decided to try for another baby.  After almost a year of the stars just not aligning, the couple found out that little J3 would have a sibling!  They discovered early on that the sibling would be another boy, which thrilled the girl to no end.  Due right before Christmas of 2011, the happy couple got a bit of a shock on November 12th…the girl’s water broke almost six weeks early.  And this little guy made his debut…

The Girl and Baby B2

Mommy and Daddy got schooled about life in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) for eleven days until they broke Baby B2 out the day before Thanksgiving 2011.  Talk about things to be grateful for!!

During her journey the girl has learned a lot; that you can get laid off from a terrific job, but it ends up being for the better.  That you can make it on one income if you’re willing to make sacrifices. That you can survive anything, including your child being hooked up to tubes and wires for eleven days in a town 30 miles away.  Which friends will drop anything to be by your side when you need them.  And of course, likes and dislikes.  Throughout this ride called life, the girl has discovered she loves

*Being J2′s wife and stay-at-home-mom to J3 and B2

*Fashion (reality “fashion” meaning looking good as a mom and admiring runway looks, but not obsessing)

*Thrift shopping (‘cuz one income don’t support Nordies anymore!)

*Cooking

*Being crafty and creative

*Reading (and sharing what I’ve learned)

*Developing a little side business to call her own

Now normally there would be “The End”, but this is certainly a reality fairy tale in progress.  Sooo…
