I’ve seen some celebrities wear a kind of hospital maternity gown. Where would I find that kind of thing at a reasonable price and good quality? It would make the perfect shower gift.

How do you make sure you’re buying the right size when getting a hospital maternity gown? Seems a little tricky.

The best way to figure out your size is to first look at the size you were pre-pregnancy. Say for instance you were a 10-that would be a medium. Then look at the belly circumference. If any area tends not to fit, it’s that one! If you’re ordering at 34 weeks or earlier, add 2″ to your current bump measurement, but keep in mind that there is extra room in the design so that it’s not tight. If all else fails, ask! We are more than glad to custom fit it to your body measurements.

Does it open down the front to allow placement of the monitors?

It snaps down the back, but you could turn it around so that it opens in the front. Or, if you need an opening for monitors just let us know and we can alter the pattern for you to meet your needs.
